Terms of Use — HotspotOn

1. Service

HotspotOn runs an HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5 proxy on your phone so your own devices on its hotspot or Wi-Fi can use the phone’s internet connection. On Android the app can open a Wi-Fi Direct group.

Data use, speed and conditions follow your mobile plan; the app doesn’t change them. Please use it within your plan’s terms.
It is not a VPN and doesn’t encrypt or anonymize traffic.
You are responsible for use through the proxy and must follow applicable laws and service terms.

Sharing from the app is free. Pro adds one-tap sharing from widgets, Quick Settings and Control Center, and removes ads.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers; cancel during the trial and you won’t be charged. Lifetime is a one-time purchase.
Billing, cancellation and refunds follow App Store or Google Play policy and are managed in each store.
Promo code benefits and durations vary by code; redeem them in Settings › Redeem code.

Sharing may stop because of network conditions, device state or OS policy (battery and background limits). Except for intent or gross negligence, we aren’t liable for resulting losses.
